Whether purchased or commissioned, his drawings offer art enthusiasts the chance to own a truly unique piece of his distinctive style
Based in Leyland, Lancashire, I’m a pencil artist with a deep passion for capturing the character and soul of places. My work focuses on highly detailed depictions of buildings, landmarks, and landscapes—each drawing a tribute to the stories embedded in our surroundings.
Inspired by the layers of history that shape our towns and cities, I explore how places evolve over time. Whether portraying a bustling street from the present day or a quiet corner from decades past, my aim is to evoke memory, meaning, and connection through every stroke.
Since I statred my art journey 2011, I’ve honed my technique and developed a distinctive style rooted in realism and nostalgia. It all began with historical scenes from my hometown of Bolton, and has since grown into a broader exploration of heritage across the region.
I especially love working on commissions—collaborating with clients to transform personal memories and visions into one-of-a-kind artworks. From my studio to your home, each piece is crafted with care, precision, and a deep respect for the stories it tells.

Paul David Hill
